The DMR Division

Organisation

The DMR Division are responsible for the service and support of vehicles primarily in the Defence, Marine and Rail sectors, with the additional responsiblity of supplying and supporting the Industrial product portfolio.

The division operates as a "Centre of Excellence" for northern Europe and is staffed by a team of fully trained technicians who can call upon the latest tooling and diagnostic systems, including a dedicated test facility, and is able to repair and remanufacture all types of ZF transmissions and drive systems.

Our committed service engineers travel to all parts of the world to support the ZF product; recent locations include New Zealand, Kuwait and Norway. Their dedication saw a team of 6, both service engineers and internal workshop personnel commended by the MoD for their services in Kuwait.

ZF Marine are responsible for the supply and support of marine transmissions, propellers, surface drives, controls and propulsion systems for workboats and pleasure craft in the UK and Ireland.

Rail

Operating as a "Centre of Excellence" for northern Europe, our rail workshop is managed by John Millward and staffed by a team of ZF factory-trained technicians. It features the latest tooling and diagnostic systems, including a dedicated test rig, and is capable of repairing and remanufacturing all types of ZF rail transmissions and drive systems.

ZF Industrial is responsible for the supply of high precision servo gearboxes in-line or in right angle format; 2 speed gearboxes; spindle coolers; hysteresis brakes & clutches; bevel gearboxes; industrial clutches and brakes; elevator transmissions & dedicated, custom built gearboxes.
